RIVER ROCHE, GOSHEN PLAYING FIELDS
Brief description of fishery:
We hold fishing rights on parts of the river Roche, from the ‘village’ down to Goshen Leisure centre. Please see the aerial view for the stretch available to fish. Grayling, Chub and Barbel are all possible to catch along this stretch along with roach and perch. Members would use trotting methods and maggots as hook bait to catch the fish.

The stretch of river to fish is between the village Hotel (BL9 7BQ), access via Rochdale Road and the Goshen leisure centre (BL9 9RR), access via Tennyson Avenue, Bury
Parking & Access
There are numerous places to park, however it is recommended to park at Goshen Leisure centre, Tennyson Avenue (post code: BL9 9RG) or on the side of the road at Redmere Drive/Grasmere Drive, these are accessed via Gigg Lane (post code:BL9 9GB)
