Club Membership
The Annual Subscription will be due on the 1st of March and will last for one membership year, or in the event of a member joining part way through the year, the remainder of the membership year. Members will not be able to fish until they have renewed their membership.
New members will be required to pay a one off joining fee and as long as the membership is renewed at the appropriate time (February 1st until March 31st at the start of the membership year) there will be no further renewal fee required.
Membership year runs from March 1st until the end of February the following year.
Members who do not renew their subscriptions between February 1st and March 31st of the same membership Year will be deemed to have relinquished their membership and must therefore re-apply and the joining fee will then also apply.
Membership types for season 2025/26
Non fishing members for social membership such as parents, grandparents ,guardians
Under 11yrs: All waters except Scholes Yard
Junior (11 – 15yrs): All waters except Scholes Yard
Intermediate (16 – 18yrs): All waters except Scholes Yard
Senior (19 – 59yrs): All waters except Scholes Yard
Senior (19 – 59yrs): All waters plus Scholes Yard
Under 11yrs: All waters except Scholes Yard
Junior (11 – 15yrs): All waters except Scholes Yard
Intermediate (16 – 18yrs): All waters except Scholes Yard
Senior (19 – 59yrs): All waters except Scholes Yard
Senior (19 – 59yrs): All waters plus Scholes Yard
Concessions including Senior member (60+yrs) and less abled people All waters except Scholes Yard

Gated waters
Keys are available for Club waters Clarendon Street. Scholes Yard and Crown Pools from Fisherman’s way Angling Shop, 45 Walmersley Rd, Bury BL9 5AE
Scholes Yard – Senior and Veterans only can obtain a key who have a Scholes Yard membership.

Payment – We accept payment by credit card, debit card or cash when visiting the club. Membership can also be purchased at Fisherman’s Way Angling Shop or via the website
For new members, please ensure you upload a photograph so that you can be recognised by Bailiffs and by the Ramsbottom Angling Association online system. No photocard or membership card is required and none will be sent out.
Your membership will be online where you can see your membership and club rules and regulations.

Membership shall be at the discretion of the Committee and all members must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence, when fishing club waters.
