This is a small pond with 8 pegs around it which is located in the farmer’s field. It can be found next to the Holcombe Brook Tennis courts on Longsight Road, Greenmount.

Access can be gained over a style which enters the field at the side of the tennis court car park.

This pond albeit is small, it holds some large sized fish with Roach to 2lb, Perch to 2.5lb along with some decent Bream and Carp. I’m sure once you’ve been and fished it, you’ll be wanting to go back again. It’s a very peaceful and enjoyable place to fish and many of the fish in there haven’t seen a hook before.

Be mindful though, the field is sometimes used by animals!

The best baits have been maggots, worms and casters this year.
